Casa Verde
Casa Verde provides affordable, permanent housing for 13 women living with chronic mental illness. Residents are graduates of Casa Milagro and pay 30% of their income for rent. Some work part–time or volunteer their time to the community. Women at Casa Verde have a sense of pride and self-esteem that comes from living independently in a pleasant and safe environment. Many continue to participate in Barrett Foundation’s AfterCare and art therapy programs.
