Make a Difference
It’s due to the countless hours of volunteers that Barrett House is able to positively impact the lives of the women and children experiencing homelessness. Volunteers provide the extra needed help and special touches to make the lives of those we serve better. Our goal is to match community skills and interests with our organizational needs to create a meaningful and fulfilling experience for all who come to partner with us.
Some of the ways you can help:
Group Service Projects
Childcare
Gardening & Landscaping
Light Indoor & Outdoor Maintenance
Supply & Food Drives
Art & Music Activities
To volunteer at Barrett House:

We require volunteers to wear a face mask in the shelter.
Submit online Volunteer Application.
Volunteers must be 18 or older and submit to a Background Check (Back ground information will be provided at Orientation). Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
